As I promised I'll post the cross-stitch projects done by my eldest daughter Asma' when she was 9 years old, which was 11 years ago!
Actually there are 3 instead of 2 as I mentioned yesterday. The one I missed is actually the phrase "BismillahirRahmannirRahim" , which means 'With the Name Of Allah The Most Gracious and Most Merciful'.
I hang it above the main entrance to our house.

During year-end school holiday, she did another project with ABCs and numbers.

I still have many leftover of DMC floss used for these cross-stitch projects, and I keep it nicely in an organizer that has many small translucent drawers so that I can see the color of the floss.....well who knows maybe one day I'll find time and sit down relaxing and trying in another postponed project! OR I will pass it down to the next and next generation ....as a keepsake....
Cherios...Happy cross-stitching for those who have the same hobby with me and Asma'......
salam perkenalan...

rasanya saya x boleh buat nie sebab mmg x suka dgn yg bersimpul dan berbelit. kalau setakat nk jahit baju koyak atau pasang butang boleh lah...hehehe
I memang takleh masuk gang lah jawabnya.... tak minat benda jarum-menjarum ni, naik bp I hehehehe...
ReplyDeletecomelnya yang asma buat tu..memang anak mak betul...tak pe nanti boleh gantung dalam dalam klinik...well done !!
Hi Nurazzah8, I Love the pics. Not many people do that nowadays, especially kids.
ReplyDeleteI guess your daughter now expert after all these years. Boleh buka business.
You have a nice day, UL.
simah,
ReplyDeletesalam kembali, maybe she pick up from me. Tgk ummi dia khusyuk sangat buat cross-stitch tu, so she gave it a try. Dia pulak cepat belajar, sekejap aje ajar dah boleh buat sendiri... so, next project I just gave her a pattern, she did it herself.
Then to boost her morale, I framed all the projects and hung them.

ReplyDeleteI don't know whether my daughter has the time to do that anymore... studying medicine demands a lot of her time etc.
waa...u really a business minded person lah, hurm...let me think...do I want to sell all the projects that I've done??? Hurm... No.. I don't think so. They are so valuable and nostalgic to me.. (think again...) Haaa...! Maybe I can open a shop that sells all the cross-stitch materials... ! Bingo!
maybe I can loan a capital fr you???
bestnye tgk crosstich akak. teringat masa kecik2 dulu belajar buat crosstich dengan cikgu masa darjah 6. Bila dah siap, mak frame kan dan gantung kat dinding. Rasa bangga sangat.hehe
ReplyDeleteRaiyan,
